Red, white and blue here we come with berets, bags, beads and more!
Recently, I took a vacation to Costa Rica (there will be more blog posts about that to come!) and was extremely inspired by the eco friendly nature that is that country. The beauty of the mountains, waterfalls and butterflies. That trip has inspired much of the products that you will see coming from me in the next few months, starting with July. As always, all our designs are made by upcycling fabric or products already in existence. We pride ourselves on being eco-friendly as well as innovative, trying to come up with new, fresh, inspired ideas everyday! I hope you like our new products for this month. Now, lets get to it!
This first piece is a Multi-Colored Beret Crocheted from Upcycled T-shirts.
A fun little beret full of colors such as green, yellow, black, blue and purple. An accent flower is on the right side as you have it on your head which is also made out of upcycled t-shirts. The next piece is a Tribal Necklace with Wooden Beads Made out of Upcycled Material.
The necklace is made out of strips of fabric taken from upcycled t-shirts, and vintage wooden beads, colors red, orange, yellow, pink and brown. The beige tassels go down to from the neck. The necklace has a tie/knot close in the back. The tassels measure approximately 8 inches. Click Here to buy!
The next piece is a Eco-Friendly, Handmade Chocolate Colored Shoulder Purse made from Upcycled Materials.
Cute eco-friendly shoulder purse that was made out of upcycled t-shirt and jeans. Help the environment while also helping your wardrobe. Stylish, unique and versatile. Measurements are 12.5 inches wide and 9 inches long with the strap measuring 30.5 inches long. It is 10.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide at the base. Also, flowers are 1 inch in diameter.
This beautiful shoulder bag is the perfect combination of casual and cool! It is a chocolate colored t-shirt mixed with nuances a multi-colored fabric. The colors include celeste, beige and white. The purse has a drawstring closure that was chained out of the same accent material, and the ends of the draw stings are decorated with denim flowers. The strap is chocolate colored with the colored fabric running through the middle and reinforced with jean on the back. The inside lining of the purse is also made out of jean material. The next piece is a Eco-Friendly Handmade Crocheted Red and Gray Shoulder Purse.
This unique red and gray shoulder purse is upcycled from a sweatshirt and blouse.
The red and gray sweatshirt was crocheted into a purse with drawstring closure using the same sweatshirt material as the strings of the drawstrings. Vintage beads decorate the ends of each string. It is lined with the floral print blouse containing the colors black, white, corral, red and gray. The blouse material has also been weaved throughout the purse’s shoulder strap to give it more style and color. This lovely purse measures 15 inches wide and 9 inches long in the front and back with the base measuring 15 inches wide and 3 inches long and the strap measures 1.5 inches wide and 47 inches long.
